Early Intervention
Akshadhaa Foundation’s Early Intervention Center supports toddlers and preschoolers with developmental delays, high-risk conditions, or disabilities. Backed by WHO and UN findings on the importance of early care, the program focuses on the first three years of brain development, addressing key domains such as physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and self-help skills.
The center offers evidence-based therapies including speech, physical, occupational, and cognitive therapy, along with assistive technology and family counseling. Each child undergoes a thorough evaluation, leading to an individualized care plan (ICP) developed with family involvement.
Families benefit from personalized therapy sessions, mother–child training, structured home programs, and an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), with regular progress reviews.
By combining professional expertise with family-centered support, Akshadhaa’s Early Intervention Program empowers children to gain essential life skills while promoting inclusivity in society.

Life skill education
Akshadhaa Foundation’s Life Skill Training Program empowers individuals with developmental challenges to achieve independence, confidence, and a better quality of life. Guided by therapists, special educators, and trainers, the program focuses on practical skills for daily living, communication, social interaction, academics, leisure, and vocational readiness.
Through real-world learning like cooking, shopping, and community-based activities, along with standardized assessments (CSA and ABLLS), each learner receives a personalized plan tailored to their needs and goals. By combining structured training with hands-on experiences, the program equips individuals to live with dignity, autonomy, and inclusion.
Vocational skill
Akshadhaa Foundation’s Vocational Training Program equips individuals with developmental disabilities with practical skills for sheltered or open employment, promoting independence and economic empowerment.
Through the Shelter-Based Employment Model, trainees receive personalized assessments, hands-on training in areas like wax, paper, bakery, and printing, and guidance from expert trainers. They also earn stipends from product sales, boosting confidence and motivation.
Families are actively involved, with support to start small businesses at home, alongside branding and marketing guidance aligned with “Vocal for Local” initiatives.
This program not only builds skills and confidence but also fosters sustainable livelihoods, helping participants and their families achieve dignity, inclusion, and long-term economic independence.

Job Readiness program
Akshadhaa Foundation’s Job Readiness Training Program equips individuals with neurodiverse conditions for both non-technical and technical career paths. The program begins with a skills assessment and offers customized training, internships, and job placements through strong industry partnerships.
For non-technical roles, collaborations with Amazon and Lamentry Hotels provide hands-on experience in retail, hospitality, and related sectors. For technical careers, partnerships with SAP Labs India and other corporates offer IT-focused training and opportunities.
By combining tailored support with real-world exposure, the program empowers trainees to build sustainable careers and achieve financial independence.

“Dear team AkshadhaaThere is no one magic or secret that creates victory, but lots of little items that when added together can make you victorious, and Snap Program in the digital space was one such milestone achieved by team Akshadhaa. Heartfelt congratulations for the same .
There were certain special features of the program which gave me the much needed assurance as a parent.
1) Sunitha Ma'am 's patience is commendable in accomodating and making the participants comfortable.
2) Sincere thanks goes to Mrs. Sumana Dutta for her insistence in Aditya continuing with the program despite my inability to be there as a parent. Such sensitivity is worthy of appreciation.
3) Last but certainly not the least, Kaviya Ma'am, my refuge centre. Whether it was about giving me information pertinent to the program or putting up with my anxiety, she did it all with elan. Thanks a ton to her for being there.
4) Finally, the program was much enjoyed by Aditya. He loved being a part of the Snap Program thoroughly as he loves to interact with people and Snap Program gave him the platform.
Thankyou once again, and here is wishing the wonderful team many more stupendous success”

SNAP program, was a good initiative from the Akshadha Foundation towards empowering adults on the spectrum. Indeed a diversified way of learning a programming skill through blocks and not a traditional way of language and numerals. It was well organized considering the target group and the mentees with perseverance kept it alive throughout the training.Giving importance to their personality development, soft skills, social skills, and interactive sessions kept the classroom enthusiastic providing the opportunity to socialize. Recordings of the sessions were a great opportunity to learn and relearn which was very much needed for these kids on the spectrum. Parents equally expressed their satisfaction with learning as well as classroom tolerance. Looking forward similar that could open ways to a diversified population. Dr. Ida M/O Deepa.

The snap coding was really interesting. It was a learning not only for keshav but for me too.I also used to try out various projects along with keshav with the same enthusiasm as a young student.
The teachers, Ms.sunitha & Ms.sherly patiently taught the content well , nd repeated as many times as asked too. Individual attention too was given while doing the projects.
